Not afraid of grain
Analogue photos are best recognized by the grain that makes up the image. Depending on the choice of film, chemicals and proceeding methods, the grain can be more or less eye-catching. The coarser, the 'rawer' the image looks. Together with a high contrast, this produces characteristic plates.
